Shanghai Customs said Jan–Aug 2026 cross-border e‑commerce exports via Shanghai
port totaled 106.98 bln yuan, up 28.7% YoY and marking eight consecutive months
of growth. Pudong Airport’s cross‑border e‑commerce declaration count has ranked
first nationwide in air transport for three years; over the same period Pudong
Airport’s import‑export cross‑border e‑commerce declarations reached 578 mln,
with declared value of 57.526 bln yuan, up 41.37% and 6.62% YoY respectively,
both record highs.
