On Oct. 3 local time the US Coast Guard said it found wreckage from a previously
missing aircraft in waters near Nantucket Island, Massachusetts; the search for
six people aboard is ongoing. The jet, a Gulfstream G100 used for medical
transport and registered in Canada, went missing on a flight from Bermuda to
Boston Logan after departing Bermuda at 00:41. Four crew and two patients were
on board. The Massachusetts Port Authority confirmed the aircraft did not arrive
at Logan; Bermuda authorities said they have contacted next of kin.
