At the morning open, China’s most-active futures contracts were mostly higher. LPG and fuel oil rose over 7%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) gained more than 4%; methanol climbed about 4%; white sugar and No.20 rubber advanced near 3%; polypropylene and Soybean No.1 were up over 2%. On the downside, palladium fell nearly 7%, platinum dropped more than 3%, iron ore fell about 2%, and SHFE silver, gold, aluminum, aluminum alloy and zinc declined over 1%.

Dingdong Maicai said its owned brand You Dou Zhi signed a tripartite agreement with Longwei Foods and Beidahuang Group’s Nenjiang Farm to jointly plant 50,000 mu of soybeans (≈3,333 ha), targeting about 10,000 tonnes of output. The company’s Ningbo soy-products factory entered production at end-September; the 8,000 sq m plant has six production lines and a daily capacity of 120,000 boxes, its largest upstream supply-chain investment since the brand’s founding.
