Ireland's minister of state for European affairs said Ukraine has made progress in EU accession negotiations.

On Oct. 13 at Huawei’s 2026 Terminal Innovation Technology briefing, the company said the Kirin 9050 chip series — introduced with the Mate XT2 foldable and Mate 90 Pro Max flagship — has entered mass production. Xu Songyu, head of wireless terminal chip product management in Huawei’s semiconductor unit, said cumulative shipments of Kirin-based devices since 2023 have exceeded 100 million units. Huawei called the 9050 rollout a key step in Kirin’s post-return roadmap toward the next decade.
