The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Cyberspace Administration
of China, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Security and the State-owned
Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued a risk alert warning
jobseekers—particularly university graduates—of frauds that: post fake
recruitment ads using central state-owned enterprise names to attract
applicants; fabricate "internal referral" channels to gain trust; and charge
fees under various pretexts to defraud victims.
