Pre-conflict U.S. procurement averaged about 225 interceptors a year; Lockheed Martin currently produces roughly 600–650 a year for the U.S. and allies. CSIS projects at least three years will be required to restore pre-conflict inventories and warns of a potential vulnerable window if another major conflict occurs during replenishment.
