RIA quoted Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak saying Russia consumes about 3.5–4.0 mln t of diesel per month and supplies an additional c.3.5 mln t to global markets, leaving a domestic surplus. Novak said the surplus should be exported to prevent refineries from cutting runs for lack of storage and that, under current agreements, exports can include shipments to the United States.

CSIS expert Mark Cancian says U.S. forces expended Patriot interceptors in roughly seven months of fighting with Iran equivalent to about 19 years of prior procurement. CSIS estimates the U.S. held about 2,200–2,330 new Patriot interceptors pre-conflict and used roughly 1,060–1,500, leaving around one-third of the pre-conflict stock. Pre-conflict U.S. procurement averaged about 225 interceptors a year; Lockheed Martin currently produces roughly 600–650 a year for the U.S. and allies. CSIS projects at least three years will be required to restore pre-conflict inventories and warns of a potential vulnerable window if another major conflict occurs during replenishment.
