Oracle (ORCL.N) CFO said capital expenditure will peak in fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028, then decline in fiscal 2029.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management head of fixed income Kay Hegge said the Fed’s pause is likely temporary. "We expect the Fed to resume hiking in December. Strong September CPI reminds us upside inflation risk remains and the Fed is likely to take further precautionary steps," Hegge said. "If energy prices rise again or incoming data remains strong, further tightening could follow next year."

ADNOC has told some Asian refiners that from early 2027 part of its offshore Persian Gulf crude will be routed via a new pipeline to Fujairah, allowing shipments to avoid the Strait of Hormuz. The company plans to deliver portions of Upper Zakum crude at the Fujairah terminal to long-term contracted customers. ADNOC said in May it was accelerating construction and that the pipeline would be completed next year but provided no further details. Deliveries will be made under annually renewed long-term supply agreements, removing the need for buyers to send tankers through a strait still exposed to the threat of Iranian attacks.
