On Nov. 1 local time, Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy reported Russian strikes on energy infrastructure caused partial power outages in eight oblasts. Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts were hit worst, with significant damage to energy facilities and major disruption to power-system operations; the supply situation is extremely severe. Damage to equipment has constrained delivery of electricity to end users. Emergency blackouts have been implemented to protect the grid, and repair and restoration work is ongoing.

Chinese automaker Geely Auto sold 310,200 vehicles in October, up about 1% YoY. Jan–Oct YTD sales were 2,545,700 vehicles, up 3% YoY. Geely brand sales in October were 255,700 vehicles, up 4% YoY. Lynk & Co sold 22,000 vehicles, down 45% YoY. Zeekr sales rose 52% YoY.
