Nov 1 — Russian presidential aide Ushakov told a TV program President Vladimir Putin has never refused to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Ushakov said an initial round should be trilateral — Russia, the United States and Ukraine — with possible European participation later; he added Zelenskiy is signalling willingness to talk via various channels and said, If he wants to talk, let him come to Moscow.

Chinese EV makers reported October deliveries: Xpeng 50,237 (MoM +22%, YoY +20%), a monthly record; Xiaomi Auto delivered over 50,000 units. Leapmotor reported 106,127 October deliveries, up 51% YoY and its fourth consecutive month above 100,000. Zeekr delivered 32,483 in October (+51.6% YoY); Jan–Oct cumulative deliveries 320,887 (+94.4% YoY). NIO delivered 34,246 vehicles in October, comprising 18,125 NIO‑brand units and 8,383 LeDao‑brand units. Li Auto delivered 29,025 in October; cumulative deliveries reached 1,862,676 as of Oct. 31. Hongmeng Zhixing delivered 33,537 units in October, with average transaction price across the range above 400,000 yuan and cumulative deliveries exceeding 1.6 million. Deep Blue sold 32,602 vehicles in October, up 8.01% MoM.

On Oct. 31 Iran's armed forces chief of staff Ali Abdollahi warned the US and Israel that further strikes against Iran would draw a "more severe and effective" response. Abdollahi told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) the newly compiled "enemy targets and assets list" covers a wide geographic area and said Iran would counter aggression with "high-intensity, geographically unrestricted" measures.
