On Nov 4, on the sidelines of the 11th Lancang-Mekong foreign ministers’ meeting, China foreign minister Wang Yi held an informal meeting with Cambodia’s deputy premier and foreign minister and Thailand’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister. The three discussed strengthening cooperation and maintaining regional stability, including promoting confidence-building measures and improving Cambodia–Thailand relations; exchanges were described as constructive.

McDonald's said US comparable sales fell 0.2% in Q3, a smaller decline than analysts' consensus, as a higher average check offset weaker traffic. The company warned in late September Q3 results might "slightly decline", citing earlier sub-$3 value menu promotions that failed to attract expected customers. The US market accounts for about 38% of total revenue. McDonald's is replacing the underperforming sub-$3 menu with new discount strategies, cutting short-term promotions in favor of previously popular value meal bundles and reinstating app-only offers.
