China equity index futures opened lower in the morning session: CSI 300 futures (IF) most-active contract fell 1.49%, SSE 50 futures (IH) down 0.90%, CSI 500 futures (IC) down 2.02%, CSI 1000 futures (IM) down 1.96%.

港股科網股盤中回暖，美團(03690.HK)漲超3%，小米集團(01810.HK)漲超1%，騰訊控股(00700.HK)、嗶哩嗶哩(09626.HK)跌幅收窄至不足1%。

Yonhap reports that on Nov. 6 South Korea's deputy prime minister and finance minister convened an emergency market review attended by the government's four senior economic and financial officials. The meeting approved a three-month waiver of the mandatory 140% collateral ratio for securities firms' margin financing. Officials said they would implement additional market-stabilization measures if stock-market volatility widens.
