May 29, 2026 — Xinxiang Intermediate People's Court in Henan convicted defendant
Liu Yingcheng, formerly legally known as Shi Yongxin, of embezzlement,
misappropriation of funds, accepting bribes as a non-state functional and
offering bribes. The court imposed combined sentences totaling 24 years'
imprisonment and a RMB 3.5 mln fine; the case involved sums exceeding RMB 100
mln. Liu accepted the verdict in court and did not appeal.
