Xibaipo Power Phase IV Unit 7 auxiliary power system was energized successfully
on first attempt. Electrical parameters are normal and protection and monitoring
signals are operating correctly. The energization covered the 500 kV expansion
bus, expansion string switchgear, standby transformer main equipment, the unit
high-voltage bus and associated protection and control systems. This follows
handover of the main plant and placement of the generator stator, marking
another construction milestone for the project.
