At a June 3 joint press briefing with NATO Secretary-General Rutte, Zelenskiy
said Ukraine spends about $45–50 billion a year on weapons production and that
existing funds are sufficient to meet the armed forces’ equipment and
operational needs. He said Kyiv will maintain sustained, adequate funding to
support weapons mass production and supply, daily military operations, and
long-term financing plans for defense force development.
