At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with Shanghai silver falling nearly 7%, platinum falling over 5%, Shanghai gold falling nearly 4%, coking coal falling over 3%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and palladium falling nearly 3%, and TSR20 rubber and Shanghai nickel falling over 2%. On the upside, container shipping to Europe and alumina rose over 3%, industrial silicon rose over 2%, caustic soda, ferrosilicon, and eggs rose over 1%, and manganese silicon and live pigs rose nearly 1%.
