Lens Technology said on June 12, 2026 its wholly owned unit Lens Optoelectronics has acquired a controlling stake in Tongsheng Optoelectronics to strengthen core optoelectronics technology and capacity and to move into high‑end optoelectronics hardware. Tongsheng, a domestic leader in hollow‑core optical fiber, supplies products for communications, AI compute, sensing, power transfer and medical markets; its hollow‑core fiber and optical sensing devices will bolster Lens Optoelectronics’ technology base and extend capabilities in optical waveguides, transmission and sensing, linking precision structural manufacturing with high‑end optoelectronic component production across the full supply chain.
