Bank of Japan quarterly flow report: Japanese household assets rose 7.1% YoY to
¥2,386tn ($14.7tn) at end‑March, the second‑highest on record. Cash and deposits
increased 0.6% YoY to ¥1,126tn, while household equity holdings jumped 28.6% YoY
to ¥398tn. BOJ holds 47.9% of outstanding JGBs, the lowest share since Q2 2020;
foreign investors hold 8.1%.
