Beijing, June 25 — The 14th NPC Standing Committee chairpersons' meeting,
chaired by Zhao Leji at the Great Hall of the People, heard reports and reviewed
revised drafts on several items. Xin Chunying reported on proposed revisions to
the Trademark Law amendment, suggested edits to a draft decision amending the
CPA Law, and the review outcome of a draft decision to authorize the HKSAR to
exercise jurisdiction over the Hong Kong-side port area at Huanggang and related
extended zones; the meeting examined the revised drafts. Xu Hongcai reported on
the review of the 2025 central final accounts draft and accompanying report, and
the meeting examined a draft resolution to approve the 2025 central final
accounts. Liu Qi reported on individual deputies' qualification reviews and
related appointment/removal cases. The chairpersons' meeting decided to submit
the revised drafts and draft decisions to the full NPC Standing Committee for
consideration.
