The Japan Meteorological Agency recorded a magnitude-5.8 earthquake at about 12:46 p.m. local time on the 26th in northeastern Chiba Prefecture. So far no abnormalities have been reported at the plant and nearby radiation monitoring stations have shown no change in dose rates.
