Hassan Kashkavi, a member of Iran’s parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told state Press TV on Sunday that Iran prefers to manage the Strait of Hormuz through cooperation with regional states, particularly Oman, and that "the clear official position is that future management of the Strait will be arranged by Iran."
