The Ministry of Water Resources said heavy rains between yesterday and today pushed 46 rivers across China above flood-warning levels. Notable rivers include Zhejiang's Jiaojiang and its tributary Yonganxi, the Qiantang tributary Wuyi River, upstream Futunxi in Fujian, Anhui's Shuiyang River, Jiangxi's Xin River tributaries Baita River and Luxi River, and Heilongjiang's Mayi River. Zhejiang's Jiaojiang, Anhui's Shuiyang and Heilongjiang's Mayi registered officially numbered floods; Taizhou (Zhejiang) Yonganxi recorded a small exceedance of the guaranteed flood level.
