Jiangxi Meteorological Observatory at 09:44 on July 19, 2026 updated to a yellow
heavy-rain warning. Over the next six hours, parts of northern Yichun, Nanchang
and Shangrao and areas of Jingdezhen are forecast to receive 50 mm or more of
locally rain, with brief intense downpours, lightning and other strong
convection. The warning advises guarding against secondary hazards including
urban and rural waterlogging, floods in small- and medium-sized rivers, flash
floods and geological disasters.
