On July 20 Wuxi city and Sugon signed a strategic cooperation agreement to
deepen collaboration on compute services, chip design, aerospace information and
smart‑city initiatives. They will co‑build the National Supercomputing Wuxi
Center, pursue iterative upgrades and base capacity on domestic chips and
high‑speed interconnects to create an integrated
supercomputing+intelligent‑computing supply system. On chip design the partners
will expand IC talent training, set up key laboratories and a joint innovation
center, and attract ecosystem firms to form an innovation cluster and strengthen
the chip‑design industrial chain.
