Gorontalo province rescue agency said it recovered 11 European tourists and one Indonesian crew member from a speedboat that went missing on the 24th; teams continue searching for the captain. Search-and-rescue units were deployed along Tomini Bay and adjacent waters using thermal-imaging drones and diving equipment. Survivors were taken to Tojo Una-Una regency and reported the vessel broke apart after encountering severe weather.

At 00:30 on July 26 the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory upgraded typhoon warnings: Yantian, Pingshan, Dapeng New District, Dapeng Bay, Daya Bay and parts of Longgang (Pingdi, Longcheng, Longgang, Baolong, Yuanshan subdistricts) were raised from orange to red.
