At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with lithium carbonate and coking coal falling over 4%, fuel oil and coke falling over 3%, benzene and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) falling nearly 3%, and SC crude oil, synthetic rubber, eggs, and styrene falling over 2%. On the upside, container shipping to Europe rose over 3%, tin, palladium, and polysilicon rose nearly 2%, apples and platinum rose over 1%, and silver and rapeseed meal rose nearly 1%.
