Iranian media reported on Aug. 1 that Iran army spokesman Akraminia said Tehran has recently deployed a new type of drone and will publish details in coming days. He said the drones’ range is sufficient to reach US bases across the Middle East. Akraminia added that, given past US behavior on agreements, Iran expects memoranda of understanding could be torn up and that conflict could resume, and that Iran has never trusted US commitments in such memoranda.
