Iranian news agency IRNA reported the Iran commodity exchange recorded a
single-day inflow of 2,100 kg of silver bars, surpassing the previous 2,000 kg
record. The exchange said the volume signals increased liquidity and greater
confidence in its silver deposit certificate market. The exchange guarantees
bullion authenticity and quality, and under capital market rules gold and silver
funds must deposit physical bars or coins into the exchange warehouse
proportional to issued fund shares.
