At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with red dates falling over 5%, fuel oil down nearly 5%, urea down nearly 4%, SC crude oil down over 3%, iron ore, soda ash, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) down over 2%, and Shanghai nickel down nearly 2%. On the upside, polysilicon hit its daily limit, rising 9%, container shipping to Europe rose over 3%, eggs rose over 2%, industrial silicon and Shanghai zinc rose nearly 2%, PTA rose over 1%, and rapeseed meal rose nearly 1%.
