China South-to-North Water Diversion Group said as of Aug 7 the middle-route
project has cumulatively transferred more than 80 billion cubic meters to
northern China, benefiting about 118 million people in Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and
Beijing and supplying 27 large- and medium-sized cities and 243 counties,
county-level cities and districts along the route.
