A UK media report says Saudi Arabia fired about 2,400 PAC-3 (Patriot-3)
interceptors in the first 38 days after the conflict began, roughly 86% of an
estimated 2,800-round inventory. By April last year Saudi had about 400
interceptors remaining. Other Gulf Arab states reportedly used comparably large
portions of their missile stocks, underscoring acute regional military strain.
