Libya's National Oil Corporation said on the 11th it may declare force majeure
and fully suspend operations at the Zawiya refinery if drone attacks on the
western Zawiya oil complex continue. The latest strike hit a blending and
filling plant run by Zawiya Refining Company, with a drone crashing near a major
storage tank and pipeline network; NOC reported no casualties or damage so far.
NOC said this was the third drone attack on Zawiya facilities on the 9th–10th;
an earlier strike ignited a storage tank that collapsed. Attacks have targeted
the Zawiya oil complex, the refinery and a desalination plant. Zawiya refinery,
about 40 km west of Tripoli, has processing capacity of roughly 120,000 bpd.
