Iraq's foreign ministry on the 11th strongly condemned Colombia's decision to recognize Israeli "sovereignty" over the occupied Golan Heights, saying the territory is Syrian and that no party may change its legal status or confer legitimacy on the occupier. The ministry said Colombia's move has no legal force and does not alter the fact that the Golan Heights are an inseparable part of Syrian territory.

When the proportion of stocks with a turnover rate above 5% remains above the threshold (dashed line in the chart), a strong profit-making effect will emerge in the market, making the market trend sustainable. During a bull market, this indicator will remain above the threshold, leading to a broad-based market rally; while during a bear market, this indicator is mostly below the threshold, and occasionally exceeding the threshold should be viewed with caution due to the risk of a pullback after a surge.

As of June 30 the SNB held positions in over 2,300 U.S.-listed firms valued at $191.4bn. Equities make up slightly more than a quarter of its FX reserves, with part allocated to U.S. stocks; the top three holdings are Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft. The SNB also holds a $716.6m stake in defense-software firm Palantir and rejected activist demands to sell roughly $1.1bn of Palantir stock.
