Boeing's bullishness among analysts hit its strongest level in nearly four years
after Argus Research and BNP Paribas upgraded the stock within ten days, pushing
the share of buy ratings to the highest since October 2022. Of 32 analysts
tracked, none recommend sell. The optimism follows FAA certification of the
long‑awaited 737 Max 7, ending an approval process stretched nearly a decade by
two fatal crashes and quality lapses. CEO Stephanie Pope called the move "a key
moment in Boeing's recovery." Boeing shares are roughly flat year‑to‑date, up
about 6%, versus about a 13% rise in the broader market and roughly an 8% gain
in Airbus' Paris‑listed stock over the same period.
