A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Flores island in Indonesia in the early
hours of the 15th, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG)
said. The epicenter was about 30 km northeast of Mbay in East Nusa Tenggara
province at a depth of 15 km. No casualties had been reported at the time; BMKG
has issued a tsunami warning.
