On National Ecology Day (15), the China Consumers Association published the 2026
edition of its Green Consumption Guide. Framed around China’s ‘3060’ carbon peak
and neutrality targets, the guide offers 50 actionable recommendations across
four consumer sectors — food, transport, energy and daily goods — aimed at
raising green-consumption knowledge, confidence and sustainable lifestyles.
Measures highlighted include promoting the clean-plate campaign, reducing
single-use tableware, advocating low-carbon travel and prioritizing public
transport, cycling or walking.
