batteries that are not zero-carbon will be phased out. He called climate change
a real crisis, citing Europe’s record hot June and Paris temperatures above
40°C, and said roughly six months of geopolitical turmoil have exposed the
fragility and risks of the fossil-fuel system. Zeng added that ongoing
industrialization, electrification and AI are driving up global energy and power
demand, and that higher power consumption translates into higher carbon
emissions.
