Tajikistan has applied to import 2.55 mln tonnes of oil and petroleum products
from Iran as traditional supplier Russia is also facing fuel shortages, the
country’s transport ministry said on its website. The request covers 2.0 mln
tons of crude, 150,000 tons of gasoline, 300,000 tons of diesel and
100,000 tonnes of jet fuel. The ministry did not specify delivery timing.
