China and India will hold the 25th meeting of their special representatives for
border talks in Beijing, China's foreign ministry said. The forum is the main
channel for bilateral boundary negotiations and a platform for discussing mutual
concerns; last August's 24th meeting featured candid, in-depth exchanges and
multiple points of agreement. In line with leaders' consensus, both sides will
continue in‑depth communication on the border issue to jointly maintain peace
and stability in border areas and will exchange views on bilateral and
regional/international matters.
