Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met Indian National Security Adviser and
China-India border special representative Doval in Beijing on the 25th. Han said
Xi and Modi’s meetings in Kazan and Tianjin produced over the past two years
important consensuses that have put bilateral ties back on a recovery path. He
urged both sides to view the relationship strategically and long-term, implement
leaders’ consensus, deepen strategic mutual trust, expand cooperation and
multilateral coordination, and properly manage differences to advance sustained,
stable development of China-India relations.
