Politico, citing two European diplomats, reports U.S. Trade Representative Greer
has been invited to the EU trade ministers' meeting in Dublin on Oct. 22-23. The
invitation comes as Washington steps up pressure on EU regulatory rules and as
Brussels awaits a U.S. probe into European manufacturing that could prompt
measures at odds with last year’s transatlantic trade agreement. Greer has not
confirmed attendance. The meeting is hosted by Ireland during its EU Council
Presidency.
