U.S. Energy Secretary Wright, speaking at a maritime nuclear start-up event in
Washington alongside IAEA Director General Grossi, said Washington "prefers
diplomacy" to resolve the Iran issue but will, "if necessary," destroy Iran
nuclear facilities. He said Iran "has a nuclear weapons program" and "our goal
is to stop it," adding any agreement must require Iran to abandon nuclear
armament.
