According to Al Jazeera, a Lebanese source stated, "If Hezbollah can speak in a way that aligns with Lebanon's position and focuses on resolving the issue, then it can be part of the solution. We are working to eliminate the 'weapons issue' as a pretext, and Hezbollah's rejection of this approach will require it to be accountable to the Lebanese people and its supporters. The international community generally believes that Hezbollah cannot be disarmed by force or in the short term."
