At midday close, most-active domestic futures were mixed. SC crude oil jumped
over 7%; LPG and coking coal rose more than 6%. Methanol, propylene, PVC,
ethylene glycol and bottle-grade PET hit daily limit, up roughly 6%. On the
downside, Shanghai gold and silver fell over 3%, platinum dropped more than 2%,
polysilicon fell over 1%, while cotton yarn, Shanghai nickel and rapeseed meal
slipped around 1%.
