On Sept. 2 local time, Seyyedi, secretary of Iran’s parliamentary National
Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said Iranian forces related with
ballistic missiles against a US Marine base in Jordan, striking hangars that
stored RQ-4 and MQ-9 drones. He said Iran also carried out combined missile and
drone strikes on US facilities in Erbil, Iraq, destroying US radar and
intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. Seyyedi said Iran had
shot down 50 US MQ-9 drones and warned it would give a "strong response" to any
further action.
