Deutsche Bank points out that the core significance of the new Louisiana "Starbase" is to pave the way for future large-scale deployment of orbital data centers and high-frequency Starship launches. The ideal orbit for such satellites is close to a sun-synchronous orbit, especially a twilight-dawn orbit along the day-night boundary, to obtain a more stable solar energy supply. Launchs southward from Boca Chica, Texas, will soon be restricted by the Mexican direction, while the Louisiana coast has a longer corridor of open water to the south, making it more suitable for high-frequency launches to these orbits. The initial plan for the new site is 5 sets of dual launch pads, totaling 10 launch towers, with the long-term potential exceeding 12 towers and more than 30 launches per day. However, once the launch frequency increases from dozens to hundreds or even thousands of times, the bottleneck will shift from "whether the rocket can fly" to "whether the launch system can sustainably supply energy." According to Deutsche Bank's calculations, the liquid oxygen alone in a single launch is equivalent to the transport capacity of approximately 180 trucks, clearly insufficient to support long-term high-frequency operation. Therefore, SpaceX has incorporated on-site fuel processing, air separation, pipeline transportation, and deep-water port facilities into its new base plan. Louisiana's geographical location, with its concentrated natural gas pipelines and LNG supply chain, perfectly caters to this need. For the market, if Starship moves towards industrialized operation, the main focus of commercial spaceflight will further extend from rocket manufacturing to orbital deployment, energy, cryogenic equipment, and propellant infrastructure.
