Danske Bank said it is making its largest-ever wealth management investment, launching a new product for affluent private clients called Butterfly built on BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform. The bank, Denmark’s largest lender and the first Nordic bank to adopt the technology, said the tool will help bankers manage portfolios and analyze risk. The move forms part of a push to grow fee-based revenue by expanding digital platforms and partnering to deliver advisory services. Butterfly will roll out gradually to more high-net-worth clients and expand to customers in Finland and Sweden later this year.

Dow is considering exiting its 35% stake in the roughly $20bln Sadara chemicals JV with ARAMCO, sources said, part of US companies reshaping portfolios amid a prolonged industry downturn. ARAMCO could buy Dow’s shares and raise its holding, and other strategic or financial bidders may compete; no final decision has been taken and Dow could decide not to sell. Sadara, founded in 2011, is an integrated chemicals complex with more than $20bln invested, 26 production units and over 3 mln tpa capacity. Dow has retained debt exposure to Sadara, including a guarantee on a $500m revolver; Sadara drew $80m from that facility in Q4 2025.
