TASNIM NEWS: Iran's National Petroleum Products Distribution Company denied reports it would cancel 3,000- and 5,000-rial/liter gasoline quotas for vehicles valued over 1 bln rial. It said all existing private passenger cars — excluding government, imported, free-trade-zone vehicles and second-or-later cars registered to the same owner — will keep monthly quotas of 60 liters at 1,500 rial/liter and 50 liters at 3,000 rial/liter. A working group is studying raising the 1 bln real price cap used to determine quota eligibility for newly produced private cars amid market changes. The company said quota allocation and volumes are unchanged; only the third-tier price was increased from 5,000 to 10,000 rial/liter.
