According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Iran's Minister of Economy responded to criticism of foreign exchange funds. Minister of Economy and Finance Madanizadeh stated that the foreign exchange resources absorbed by these funds will be used to finance production enterprises and their foreign exchange projects; therefore, public funds will help strengthen production and exports. Public participation in these funds not only alleviates pressure on the foreign exchange market, but their funds will also enter the production cycle, helping to increase output and enhance the country's foreign exchange earning capacity.
