Huawei is recalibrating the positioning of its HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving
business. Xu Qinsong, president of Huawei Terminal China, told staff on Monday
that some retail authorizations will shift from Huawei to SERES, making SERES
responsible for AITO sales, but this does not indicate a breakup. Huawei will
advance an independent, AITO-specific sales network while retaining a proportion
of stores to continue selling AITO models within HarmonyOS showrooms to maintain
a visible system-level link between AITO and HarmonyOS.
